After that, we went to Seattle by train. I hadn't expected to ride a train, and I was very happy. After we arrived in Seattle, we went to see an ice hockey game.

Feb. 18th (Sat.)

I met Alex for
the first
time. In the evening, I went to
a restaurant called RED ROBIN
and ate hamburger with Jay and Marika.
Jay
recommended milk shake to me. I tried it,
and I liked it! The hamburger was very
delicious too. After that, we went to Seattle by train. I hadn't expected to ride a train, and I was very happy. After we arrived in Seattle, we went to see an ice hockey game. |

Feb. 19th (Sun.)

In the morning, we
went to eat breakfast and held Nichole's birthday party. Nichole is Marika's niece.
Marika and I gave her a present. I ate
tomato bacon cheese omelet and pancake. I
couldn't eat all the meal because it was too heavy. After that, we went to the place the Gard family owns. Marika and I planted a tree. The place has a wonderful view of the ocean. We stopped by a store on our way home. |

Feb. 25th (Sat.)
| I went to eat Mexican food with Jay and Marika. After that, we went to the history museum in Seattle. I saw a lot of pictures. Next, Jay drove me around in downtown Seattle. After that, we went to a shopping mall. Jay and Marika gave me a present. It was a sweat shirt and my name "Mizuki Kato" was printed on it. I was so happy! Thank you. |

It was
Jay and Marika's
12th wedding anniversary that day! In the
morning, Marika's daughter Nichole,
Nichole's boyfriend Chuck and their dogs had
already been home. They're very funny
people. I was with them only for three
days, but they were very kind to me. Marika took me to horse back riding that day. I had never tried it, and I was excited as well as scared at first. I enjoyed horse back riding after all. After that, Marika took me to a supermarket for the ingredients to make Japanese stew. Jay and Marika said, "Good" to my stew, and I was happy. |

Mar. 4th (Sun.)
| I went to Tacoma Zoo with Jay, Marika, Alex and Alex's girlfriend. I had never seen a lot of animals and such a lot of fish. I thought white foxes were cute. In the evening, we ate hamburger, and it was delicious! We took a good sleep after we came home. |
