Denise's Lessons
Feb. 17th (Fri.)
We learned about staying in America at the study center. After that, we
went to a shopping mall near the
study center and we ate lunch in there. I bought cosmetics
in there.
Then, I went to Jane's house with Marin. We prepared for
the
Welcome Party and we went back to
the study
center in the evening. We enjoyed the party.

Feb. 20th (Mon.)
We went to a fire station.
We asked some firefighters questions and experienced putting on a fire fighting
suit or getting on a fire engine . After that, we went back to the study
center and talked about the visit to the fire station.
Then, we finished the class, and Ayaka and I went shopping.
After I went back home, Bonnie, Marissa and I baked cinnamon blue
berry muffins. They were very delicious.
After that, Steve, Alex, Marissa and I played a game called "Sorry" and I won.
We enjoyed playing the game and talking.

Feb. 22nd (Wed.)
We went to
Leavenworth.
There was a little snow on the ground. There were a
lot of stores. For example, a Disney store, a chocolate store, a hat
store, a Christmas store and so on. For lunch, we ate German food.
It took about three hours from the study center to Leavenworth and I slept all the
way.
The dinner that night was very healthy.
After dinner, I ate chocolate chip cookies and an apple and I got full.

Feb. 24th (Fri.)
We went to Green
River Community College. We looked around the college
and we ate lunch there. Then we went to
a nursing home, where we sang some
Japanese songs for the senior people.
When I came back home, I slept with Katie, so I didn't have dinner with my host family.

Feb. 28th (Thu.)
We experienced American holiday activities. First, we colored some Easter eggs and tried an Easter egg hunt. We ate American holiday food for lunch. They were very delicious. Then we experienced Halloween. We wore a costume and we got some sweet treat.
