Dear Laura,

   Thanks to you, we were able to spend a nice time and spent 3 weeks safely.  You taught us rules and culture in America, English expressions and how to bowl well.  I was glad to take your lessons.Thank you for driving me to the study center.  I had a good time when we talked in your car because you were so funny.   Thanks to you, I learned some English.  At first, all I could say was words, not sentences, but your lesson helped me say English sentences.  I was finally able to speak sentences to communicate with people in America.  When we went bowling, I wasn't good at bowling, but your bowling lesson was so great that I improved my skill well in a short time!!  Now I really like bowling because you taught me to get a better score.  I would like to take your nice English lessons as well as bowling lessons in America again!!  I miss you.


Dear the Gutierrez Family,

   Thank you for letting me stay with you for 3 weeks and taking me to many exciting places in America.  Thanks to you, I improved my English skills, saw a new world, and met great American people there.  Even when I had some trouble, you were always kind to me.  At first, I was so nervous, but you gave me a warm welcome, so I stayed at your home very comfortably. It was so fun when you drove me to and from school.  I was able to talk wih you a lot and that was my special time!!  Maybe you weren't comfortable at home because you were too busy teaching me some English when we were watching some movies or talking about somerthing.  I made you so tired, but appreciate your help.  I would like to meet Adam's family, Luna and Meiko again, so I will go to America someday.  I really like family because they are very nice, kind, funny and warm.  When I felt  sad, your family talked to me and made me happy.  Thanks to you, I spent nice days.   I miss everyone.
   I was so happy to know that you liked Japanese culture, for example, "Golden Bomber."  I heard you sing some songs on weekend morning.  I'll take you to some interesting places in Tokyo or Niigata in September.  We are waiting for you to come to Japan!!  I can't wait or sleep well!!  See you later.
