Feb. 15 (Fri) Welcome Party　

We took Laura's class for the first time in the morning, and learned about American culture and homestay rules. After the class, we went shopping. We got drink at aStarbucks Coffee. I drank "double chocolety chip." It was so sweet.
We had the welcome party in the evening, and we ate delicious food and played some games with our host families. We had a special time.

Feb. 18 (Mon) Fire Department　

We went to a fire department after lunch. We learned about a firefighter's work and we asked some firefighters some questions. After that we wore a firefighting suit and got on a fire truck. And we shot some water with a hose. We took many pictures with the firefighters too. They were so cool and kind. I had a great time.

Feb. 21 (Wed) Leavenworth
	We went to Leavenworth for sightseeing. We looked around chocolate shops, Christmas shops and so on. We ate German food for lunch. After lunch, we ate gelato too, and it was so delicious. We bought some souvenirs for our host family. I enjoyed the day.

Feb. 22 (Fri) Green River Community College and Retirement Home
	We went to Green River Community College in the morning. We met our old friends, Kisaki and Sayaka, at the cafeteria. After that, we went to a retirement home. The building was clean and beautiful. We sang the senior people a few Japanese songs and taught them how to count from one to ten in Japanese. The senior people were very powerful and smiling. I was so happy to talk with them.

Feb. 25 (Mon) American Holiday Activities
	We learned about some American holidays. We tried on many kinds of Halloween costumes, and ate delicious food for Thanksgiving for lunch. We enjoyed both studying and eating.

　 Feb. 28 (Thu) Sightseeing in Seattle

We went to Seattle for sightseeing. We visited the University of Washington, Space Needle, Pike Place Market, theFirst Starbucks Coffee store and Safeco Field. I really loved the first Starbucks Coffee store. Next time, I want to try the Ferris Wheel. We bought many souvenirs that day. Unfortunatery, the weather was bad that day, but I really enjoyed sightseeing. I love Seattle.
