Feb. 15th

Kim took me to a supermarket. Then
Kim helped me choose souvenirs for my family in
Japan, and I finally got
nice
goods which
Kim recommended
.
I talked with
Ryann for the first time
that day. Ryann and Janell worked at a fastfood shop called Daily Queen, so
we didn't have much time to talk together. We ate dinner at the Daily Queen where they worked. I ate ice cream
too, and it was sweet and good
.
Feb. 16th
(Sun)
I went to church
with Dave and Trent, which was my first time. The church was in
the same building as our study center. I got Valentine cookies and sang
songs with everybody in the room, with Dave
playing the guitar
.
I
made dinner with Kim. She taught me how to read a recipe
and how to use things in the kitchen while we were cooking dinner. The dinner was so good! It smelled spicy, but the taste was
not too spicy. I loved
it!
Feb. 23rd
(Sun)
Dave came back from the gym before lunch
time. He took me to the post office to send a post card to my family in Japan. The American post office had a different atmosphere from
a Japanese post office. I became
a little nervous. We came back home, and I
talked with Kim about movies. I wanted to talk about Ghibli movies,
but Kim didn't know them. Then Kim offered me to go to the library to
look for Ghibli movies. We went to the
library soon. The library was huge and it had Japanese
music CDs too
, but it didn't have any Ghibli
movies.
Mar. 1st
(Sat)
Dave took me
to the reptile zoo with Trent, Jacob and Mizuki.
Jacob took many pictures and he showed his pictures to Kim
after we came home. Jacob only
said,
"Scary." His face looked funny. Trent was excited about feeding an alligator.
Dave took movies about it. Mizuki became more and more nervous when she watched a snake eat a rabbit. Dave and I visited Gwen's home and
I had a chance to touch her
ferret
. She was so cute!
I really wanted to stay there.
Mar. 2nd
(Sun)
Jacob made me macaroni&cheese for lunch and it
was good. We watched TV until Kim came back, and then we
went shopping. The
driver
was Jacob, and he
really liked driving a car. We took a long way before we got
to Target because it was a practice for Jacob. I got chocolates that Jacob recommended at
the Target, and we then stopped by a
Starbacks store. We went to a book store too, and then Jacob drove the car
again. I bought a comic book "Inuyasha" in English in
there.
