Happy Weekends
I
really enjoyed all the weekends!
Feb 15
(Sat)
We went to Tacoma Mall with Adam’s
sister Lauren, who was the same age as me and liked Disney just like me. I was interested in
all the stores at the
mall because we didn't have those stores in Japan. I
especially liked “Bath & Body
Works .” I bought some stuff at the store. I also found a tea shop in the mall.
I like tea, so I tried to drink some.
The taste of American tea was very different
from that of Japanese one. I think American tea is sweeter than Japanese one.
I liked American tea,so I bought some as a souvenir for my
family. Now, my Japanese mom likes American
tea, too. I had a good shopping
time!

16 (Sun)
We
went to Adam’s parent's house and met his family, and later to
Seattle Home Show
in Seattle. We saw many
different kinds of houses, housing equipments and many more. It was
interesting.
After that, we went to
a Mexican restaurant
for dinner. Actually, it was the
first time that I had Mexican food. A ll the dishes were delicious, especially tortilla
chips
. We enjoyed eating and
talking.

22 (Sat)
We went to see a movie “FROZEN
.” It
wasn’t coming to Japan yet at that time,
so I was very happy to watch the movie ahead of screening in Japan. It was very
fun.
Then, we went to Adam’s parent's house
again. I made apple pie
with Adam and Lauren after eating some good dinner Adam made. We made the pie very well, and it was very delicious . I was full at that time, but I was able to eat
a piece of it easily. We had a very
good time!

23 (Sun)
We went to the zoo and saw many animals. Unfortunately,
it was a rainy day, so we couldn’t see so many animals outside, but it
was still interesting because I
saw some animals that were not seen in Japanese zoos.
We also went to a garden and a mall.
We had such a busy and fun day.
Mar 1 (Sat)
We went to the birthday party for Adam’s mother Heidi
. I enjoyed
meeting many people and talking with them. At first,
I didn’t know what to do, but Lauren kindly supported me so that I
could enjoy talking with Lauren and her friends.
I remember that we kept laughing with
pleasureall the
time. There was a karaoke
box in the house, so we also enjoyed singing and dancing to classic
American songs and Disney songs
. We had a very good time!
Mar
2 (Sun)
Marianne and I went to a nail salon
. There were many different colors in
there. I was totally excited because it was the very first time for me to go to a nail salon.
Next
, Adam, Marianne and I went to Seattle. We
ate lunch in the Crab Pot,which was a
famous seafood restaurant. A
ll the dishes were very delicious. What
I was surprised most
was how to eat the dishes .
They didn't use dishes or plates for food. They spread out meals
to eat on the table instead! It was very interesting! After lunch, we went
to the
aquarium. We saw a lot
of fish. Then we went home by ferry.
The
view from the ferry was awesome
! I liked the view. We had a wonderful
day!
After we came home, I watched a 3D movie “The Croods
” with Marianne. It was so funny. I broke up laughing at the
movie . I liked “The Croods.”
