Happy Weekends

Feb. 15 (Sun)

I woke up late because I had jet lag. At lunchtime, my host parents and I went to SUBWAY to eat a sandwich.  It was delicious.

After lunch, we had a plan to go to the zoo, but we changed the plan because the zoo was so crowded.   Then, we walked near the sea instead and talked about my hometown, my family, my hobby and so on.  It was fun.   I spent refreshing time .

Feb. 21 (Sat)

I went to the aquarium in Seattle with Ben, Hannah and Makoto.   I drank hot chocolate on the way.   It tasted like cocoa.
We arrived at the aquarium and saw a big octopus and many jerry fish.   I love aquariums, so I really enjoyed the visit.

After that, we went to a famous seafood restaurant Ivar's to eat lunch.   I shared clam chowder, salad and fried clam with Makoto.   They were so delicious.   I recommend this shop.  We took a drive to Seattle in our car.   I felt Seattle was a nice city .

Feb. 22 (Sun)

I went to CHIHULY glass museum in Seattle with Gwen.   I was impressed by some works made with glass.   They were so beautiful.   I couldn't believe that they were glass because they were big and looked fragile.

After dinner, I went for a walk with Hannah and her friend Keara.  Then we wanted to eat some dessert, so we went to Wendy's, and ate a chocolate frosty.   I enjoyed talking and laughing with Hannah and Keara.

Feb. 28 (Sat)

I went to South Center Mall with Gwen, Hannah and Gwen's friend.   The mall was big with a lot of shops .  Hannah showed me around and introduced shops she recommended.   I bought many souvenirs for Laura, my family and friends.  I got satisfied.

After shopping, we bought a big pizza.  I ate a piece with bacon and pineapple for the first time.   It tasted salty and sour, but was good.  My host family and I went to bed early because we were so tired.

Mar. 1 (Sun)

I went to the zoo in Seattle with Gwen and Hannah.   The zoo was huge.   The animalslived in natural posture .  I saw many kinds of animals.  My favorite was a family of parents lions with their children.   They were playing.   They were so cute.   We were excited to see them!

It was the last holiday I spent with my host family.   I felt sad and wanted to spend a lot more.
