The Weekends
Feb. 14th (Sun)
I went to a grocery store with Gwen. We bought some vegetables to cook dinner. We had been sort-out some coupons the previous night, and we used them. At home, we cooked dinner together. After that, we played cards. We played ''Go Fish.'' It was fun!!!

Feb. 20th (Sat)
I went to Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum in Seattle with Gwen, Laura and Kaori. The admission fee was a little expensive, but it was worth seeing!! It was very beautiful and I was very impressed. After that, we went to a food court. Kaori and I had a hamburger. It was delicious!!

Feb. 21st (Sun)
In the morning, I went to a big shopping mall with Gwen and Kaori. We arrived there at 9:30 a.m., but the mall was not open until 11:00 a.m. We went to a small shopping mall instead and Starbucks Coffee until the big shoping mall opened. I had Chai tea at the Starbucks. I loved it. The big shopping mall was really large. We didn't have enough time, so we couldn't see it through.
In the afternoon, I went to an aquarium in Seattle with Ben and Hannah. It was very large!! I saw not only fish but also birds there. My host family gave me some presents. They became my precious treaure. I was very happy. Thank you very much.

Feb. 27th (Sat)
I went to the sea with my host family. I tried flying a big kite for the first time. It was difficult for me. Hannah was good at flying a kite!! After that, we went to a burger restautant near the sea. I had clam chowder for lunch, and it was delicious. We then went back to the sea and I flew a kite again. We made S'more and I had it for the first time. It was sweet and delicious! We later went to an outdoor equipment store. I was surprised that there was even an aquarium in the store.

Feb. 28th (Sun)
It was the last weekend, which came too soon. I went to Bainbridge Island with Gwen and Hannah by ferryboat. We enjoyed looking around there!! I bought some souvenirs for my family and myself. At night, I made an apple pie and a fruit pie with Ben!! They were good!!
