Weekends with Host Family
Feb. 12th (Sun.)
I went to a mall to buy a swim suit. After that, Samantha and I enjoyed playing with Akira at an open space. Then I made chocolate cookies with Jonelle. She has many cooking utensils, so we made cookies more easily and they were delicious. I enjoyed making the cookies very much. I watched "Finding Dory" at night. It was fun.

We went to Seattle with Misaki's host family. We went to many places. For example, a seafood restaurant Ivar's, which was famous for clam chowder, a flying theater called Wings Over Washington, where we can enjoy looking around Seattle's famous spots with a special seat as if we were birds, Pike Place Market with many shops and so on. I especially liked Wings Over Washington. I was so excited. I ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant "Tokyo." It was so exciting to see meat grilled right in front of my eyes. It was delicious. I enjoyed it very much.

We went to Federal Way Community Center in the morning. We played pickle ball, which was a sport like tennis, and billiards. I played both for the first time, and I enjoyed them very much. My host brother and host grandson came to our house. I played with the grandson Jessie with paper balloons and model guns. We played video games too. Jonelle was not very good at playing the game, so it was fun to watch that. Then, I cooked stir-fried rice wrapped in omelette for dinner. It was difficult to cook dinner for 6 people, but I was glad to hear the family say it was good.

I had some smoothie in the morning. It was delicious. After that, I made a scrapbook. It was fun to make a scrapbook while considering how to make. We later went to a birthday party at a restaurant with amusement facilities called Chuck E. Cheese's, which was a lively place with many games and children. Every game was so fun. I got gifts to exchange tickets. I ate colorful cake too. I enjoyed the cake very much.

We went to a grocery store and Costco, which had many large products. Then, we went shopping to Tacoma Mall and I bought souvenirs for my family and friends in Japan. We ate sushi for lunch. They had many kinds of rolled sushi in the restaurant, which was delicious. Then we went to a cheese cake factory and bought a blue berry cake. After I came home, we ate taco for dinner. It was spicy and delicious.
