Ben is kind and I love his smile. He is good at cooking and he often cooked very delicious dishes for me. He enjoys diving with his daughter, Hannah on weekends.

I spent a lot of time with Gwen during my stay. She spoke to me slowly to understand. She likes listening to music in her car. She often told me her favorite songs. Her hobby is bowling and she goes bowling every Monday.

Catherine

(Host Grandmother)

Catherine is Gwen's mother and I called her Nana. She always listened to my talk happily. Gwen and Catherine are from Texas, so Catherine often told me about her hometown and her family.

Hannah

(Host Sister)

Hannah is poweful and kind. I like to talk with her about Japan. She also likes diving and she teaches people diving on weekends.

Eros

Eros is a cute and smart dog. He loves Gwen, so he is always near her.

Cola

Cola is a friendly cat. He is always near Nana. He likes to play with a laser pointer.

Cider

Cider is a mysterious cat and I usually didn't know where he was. He also likes to play with a laser pointer.

Fresca

Fresca is the 16th ferret of the Barrie family. He likes sleeping and staying in a narrow space. I love his sleeping face.

Laura

Laura is a powerful and kind woman. She is our teacher, and also our mother. She often said to us, “You can do it! I believe you!”
