Weekends

Sat, Feb 15

I went to a grocery store with Gwen, and then we went to a seafood restaurant, Ivar's. It was one of the places where I wanted to go, so I was very happy and the meal was very good.

I told Gwen that I wanted a photo book, and then we went to Hobby Lobby with Eros. I found a cute photo book and bought it. After I came back to Japan, I made a photo book about my stay in Seattle. I want to show it to my host family someday!

Ben made me grilled beef for dinner. It was tender and very delicious.

It looks like a mermaid.

Delicious!!

Sun, Feb 16

I had casserole for breakfast. Ben made it and told me its recipe.

After that, Gwen and I went to a dog park with Eros. The park was large with many dogs. We walked Eros along the fence. It was good exercise for me too. Eros had many friends there and looked very happy.

In the afternoon, we went to see the Barrie family's sailing boat. I was surprised because I saw some wild seals there. I was very excited.

It's cool!

They were looking at me!

Sat, Feb 22

Ben mede me French toast for breakfast and I ate it with butter and syrup. It was so good.

Gwen, Catherine and I visited Nana's house for craft. We enjoyed making some cute message cards. We also prepared a message card for Laura.

In the afternoon, Gwen and I went to a dog park with Eros again. Gwen goes there five days a week. After that, Gwen and I colored pictures until dinner.

After having dinner, I made cookies with Ben. They were easy to make because I simply mixed the ingredients and chilled them in the fridge. Ben told me its recipe too.

Good morning!

Sun, Feb 23

In the morning, I made some cute message cards, and then Gwen and I went shopping with Eros to look for some stuff for craft. We also went to a pet shop to buy dog treats. I was surprised because some dog treats were sold in a buffet-style. Eros tried to eat them.

In the afternoon, I made some paper craft for visiting a senior center.

I wasn't feeling well in the evening, but I couldn't tell that well to Gwen and I bothered her.

Sat, Feb 29

In the morning, I went to see Hannah's diving lesson. Ben helped her and they had four students. It looked very cold and an oxygens cylinder was very heavy.

I went to the city of Poulsbo with Nana's host family. I met Nana's host father for the first time and he was very kind. We enjoyed shopping and having lunch, and then we went to Seattle by ferry. We were invited to the birthday party of Jane's daughter. It took us about two hours to drive from Seattle to the place. We enjoyed the party with delicious meals.

Sun, Mar 1

Gwen and Ben took Nana and me to Ocean Shores Beach. Nana and I were very moved because the beach was much larger than that in Japan. We enjoyed flying kites. It was difficult, but we were still happy. After that we had lunch, and I ate a hamburger. It was my fourth time to eat a hamburger in America. I just love American hamburgers.

After having lunch, we enjoyed shopping. Gwen gave me a hoodie and I was really happy. It was a truly wondeful day.
