The Weekends


Feb. 15 (Sat)

We went to Tacoma. I ate a pretty cupcake, and it was sweet. I saw a lot of beautiful glass at the Glass Museum. In the afternoon, we went to a park. I saw a wild raccoon, and it was very pretty. That evening we went to a restaurant. I ate clam chowder, and it was yummy. I had a great day.

Feb. 16 (Sun)

We went to Snoqualmie Falls in the morning. It was a ittle rainy that day, but it was still great. That evening, I cooked Japanese dishes such as Okonomiyaki” and Miso-Soup. I cooked very well. I was happy because John and Shirlee said, “It is very delicious!” After dinner, we enjoyed a card game. The game became my favorite. It was a great Sunday.

Feb. 22 (Sat)

We went to Seattle. We went to a restaurant called The Crab Pot, and enjoyed eating and peeling some seafood. It was so delicious. After lunch, we rode The Great Wheel. It was a cloudy day, so we couldn't see the view well, but I still enjoyed it.

In the evening, I played with Ryotaro. It was a very fun time. I liked him so much. We took a picture. It is my favorite picture.

Feb. 23 (Sun)

John and Shirlee came back to Seattle, so I went back to their house. We enjoyed talking about their business trip. We ate hamburger at home. It was yummy. After dinner, we went to a movie theater. The movie theater was different from Japanese one. We watched the movie The Call of the Wild.” It was interesting and impressive. I had a good Sunday evening.

Feb. 29 (Sat)

I went to a supermarket to buy some ingredients to cook Japanese food. I cooked Yakisoba.” I cooked it well, so I was happy. After dinner, we went to Shirlee's friend's house to join a party. I was nervous, but I really enjoyed it. Shirlee's friend, Regina was a teacher at the elementary school that we had visited. She was nice and kind, and so were her friends. I met nice people there. I had a great time.



I love them so much.


Mar. 1 (Sun)

I got up early because Shirlee and her sister were running in a marathon race. John and I cheered for them. After the marathon race, John's mother came to our house. We enjoyed dinner and talking about Japan and myself. I had a good time. I like their families.
