Kim

(Host Father)　
I talked with Kim a lot of times. When I lost my confidence in my English, he said to me, "Your English is good." I was glad to hear that. We had breakfast sometimes on weekdays. He is good at making omlets. After school, Kim took me many places by car. We went to a supermarket, a pool, a park, and a library. I enjoyed going there with him. Thanks to his driving me to many places, I was able to see American people's lives. He also likes make us laugh. He made us smile.

Wanda

(Host Mother)
Wanda is kind and very good at cooking. I talked with her when we cooked dinner together. I love her dishes. She was also good at talking, so she made me laugh every time. I liked her candles, and I often looked at them. She always listened to my story, and I was glad. When I asked her about English, she taught me in easy English to understand.

Alex

(Host Brother)
Alex was busy at work. He talked to me brightly. He works at a pet shop. He has many aquariums at home. I liked looking at them. Also, his cat was cute. When I cooked Japanese dishes, he said to me, "This is delicious. You are good at cooking." I really glad to hear that because I didn't have confidence in cooking. I was surprised that he knew "Furikake," which is a Japanese condiment for rice.

Bear (Host Pet)		Bear is very friendly. When I got up in the morning, he always came into my room. He was so cute. I enjoyed walking him. We went to many parks to find Trolls.
Calliope (Host Pet)		She often slept on my bed. I calmed down with her. She likes treats, so I gave treats to her sometimes.

Alissa is kind and powerful. She listened to us carefully. When we had things that we didn't know, she explained them kindly. She is good at knitting. She gave us a pouch she made. We really enjoyed talking with her.
