Thank-you Letters

@Dear Alissa,

Hello, Alissa. Long time, no see. How are you doing?

Thank you very much for guiding us for three weeks. I was nervous about spending time in the U.S., but you took away my concern. Thanks to you, we were able to learn English and American culture safely and with fun.

I enjoyed your class. It was really fun every day, and everything was new for me. You gave me a lot of knowledge that I had never had. You always talked to us in English that is easy to understand. If we didn't understand the word, you explained it carefully. You were always watching over us, and we felt very safe.

In addition, you understood us very well. You remembered what each of us liked. I was very happy when you made a cheese tart with lemon sauce and gave me three socks with the design of Jack Skelington. You gave us presents that each of us liked. I was very impressed. I'm glad that you were very kind and friendly to us.

It was my first experience spending time in a foreign country. However, you supported us very well, and then the experience became an unforgettable memory for me. Thank you so much.

Do you remember that we exchanged friend codes for the Nintendo Switch? If you have time, I'd like to play Animal Crossing with you! I love you.

@ Dear the Billing Family,

Hello, Cindy, Jan. How are you doing? I miss you very much.

Thank you very much for allowing me to stay at your home for three weeks. When I arrived at the airport, I was full of nervousness. Thanks to you, I was able to spend time without it. Both of you helped me many times. I really appreciate it.

Cindy, you always supported me by my side. I loved your cheerfulness and smile very much. I really enjoyed shopping and painting with you. The T-shirt you bought me and the mirror you taught me how to paint are my treasures forever. When I didn't understand the phrase, you easily explained it to me. Thank you very much for your kindness.

Jan, you always put my opinion first. I'm glad you always listened to me until the end. You drove me to the study center every day, and you gave me many experiences in a lot of places. I loved your kindness and your dad's jokes. It was funny, really. Do you still use chopsticks? Maybe you mastered how to use them. Thank you very much for your gentleness.

I also miss Spunky very much. I was really happy that I became his friend. I wish I could pet him again.

Please give my regards to Carrie and her family, too. I enjoyed dinner with them very much. Carrie also gave me Nightmare Before Christmas candies. I was very happy with them.

I was impressed when you two said to me, "You are our other daughter. " I can't forget the words. When you come to Japan, I will warmly welcome you with my family.

From Sara
