Weekends

Sat., Feb 22

We had a birthday party for Eloise. I helped by cutting fruits and decorating the room. In the evening, many of Eloise's friends and their family members gatherd. I was nervous, but I talked to many people. The children played with piñata . We also ate a very cute cake. I really enjoyed the American-style birthday party.

Before going to bed, I showed Abbie and Chris some of the pictures I had brought, and talked about them. Abbie and Chris also showed me a lot of photos and shared stories. It was a lovely time.

Sat., Mar 1

I met the Stone family. First, we went to the Glass Museum and bought some souvenirs. Then we took a ferry to Maury Island. We visited a popular antique shop, and had pizza for lunch, and saw the big troll statue. We went to Kari's friend's house, which was a beautiful home. I also visited the Stone family's house, which was like a museum filled with antiques and decorations. I loved their house. For dinner we ate hamburgers at Red Robin. They were so delicious. After that, I returned to the Nutt family's house. I felt sad, but Will said, "I will see you again," which made me happy.

I watched the movie "The Wizard of Oz." It is Abbie's favorite movie, and I found it very interesting. In the afternoon, Chris, Eloise, Arthur, Lydia, and I went to a seaside park. Eloise looked like she was having so much fun. Arthur and Lydia wore cute clothes. We enjoyed playing with a soccer ball. I really felt close to nature.

Before going to bed, Eloise and I read a book"Peter Rabbit" together.

I went to Seattle with Abbie. We visited a flea market and bought some souvenirs. Then we went to Abbie's friend's shop. Her artwork was so beautiful, and she gave me a sticker as a gift. We also ate bagels, which were delicious. After returning home, I went to the beach with Chris, Eloise, Arthur, and Lydia. It was very cold with heavy rain and strong wind, but I enjoyed walking hand in hand with Eloise.
