The Partridge Family

　　　

John (Host Father)		John is a very energetic person. He played the guitar every day, both in the morning and before bed, which was very relaxing. He loves marathons and often runs in the neighborhood. We watched movies and played card games together.  John drove me to the study center every morning. In the car, he always played music and carefully taught me about the songs and when they were made. When he spoke English, he always used easy-to-understand words.
Shirlee (Host Mother)		Shirlee is a very kind person. She cooked delicious meals, which made me happy. Every day, she would train without fail and also do things like knitting. Whenever I asked her about problems or things I didn't understand, she would always explain them carefully.  I thought she was a genius because she took on a difficult origami challenge I gave her and successfully completed it. Shirlee is an elementary school teacher, and she said she loves her job. Her smile always cheered me up.

Teacher Guide 

Laura

Laura is always cheerful and fun. Thanks to her, I felt energetic every day too. At the study center, she taught us a lot about America and told interesting stories. She always supported us. Laura made difficult English easy for us to understand.  I was surprised to learn that Laura likes chickens and she keeps many chickens at her house. My host family got eggs fm Laura's chickens, and I made Japanese rolled omelets with them for dinner. Laura's chicken eggs were very delicious.

The Rooms

	The living room had plants and a TV mounted on the wall. Every night, I drank cocoa there and watched movies or American TV shows.
	I had a very big bed. My host family decorated the closet just for me. This room also had plants, which was very nice.
