Class, Visit Fire Department
We had a class at the study center in the morning and first talked about our weekend experience, and later prepared some questions for our visit to a fire station in the afternoon.
We visited a fire station District 13 in Pierce County in the
afternoon. The chief firefighter gave us a small lecture about their work and we
asked him some questions in return. There were three other firefighters
including two female firefighters at the station, who kindly answered our
questions. We later looked around the station, got on a fire truck and an
aid car, and enjoyed taking many pictures as well as talking
with firefighters. We put on a firefighting jacket and a helmet by turns,
and even practiced shooting water. The visit was totally fun!
