First Day at the Study Center, Community Tour and
Welcome Party
This was our first day on the study center. We had an orientation class in the morning and then went out for a community tour in the neighborhood in the afternoon. The weather was not very good that day, and it was a little cold to walk around, but we enjoyed looking around the neighboring area anyway, and we finally spent some time shopping at the mall next to our study center.
In the evening, we had a welcome party at the study
center. The party was a potluck party and we enjoyed having American
food as well as talking with each other and having a little game
with host families. It was a very good party.
