DAY 04: 2/17 (Tues.)

Class, Shopping at
Tacoma Mall,
and Welcome Party
We had a class at the study center in the morning and learned how to ask questions to help our conversation with host families.
We then went shopping for a half day to a doghnut shop
"Krispy&Kream " and Tacoma Mall. We
spent some time looking around
and shopping in the big mall after
having lunch at the food court there. All of us built our
own teddy bears to bring home that day. Surprising, ha!
In the evening, we had a welcome party at the
study center. The party was a potluck party and we enjoyed having
American food as well as talking with each other and having a
little game with host families. It was a very good
party.
