First Day at the Study Center, Community Tour and Welcome Party

This was our first day at the study center.  We had an orientation class in the morning and learned how to stay safe in the US.  We spent the afternoon class going out for a little community tour near the study center.  We looked around a candy store, a natural food grocery, a movie theater, and a local shopping mall.

In the evening, we had a welcome party at the study center.  The party was a potluck party and we enjoyed having American food  as well as spending a lot of time talking with host families.  It was a very good party.
