Class, and Visit a Local Retirement Home

We had a class with Laura in the morning, talked about food in Japan and America, and then learned how to explain recipes for Japanese food. 

We visited a nursing home near the study center in the afternoon. We were surprised that the place looked like a beautiful condo or hotel with nice facilities and staff.  When we arrived there, there was a health class for the residents going on, and we were invited to join them.  The class was about keeping your brain and memories work properly.  After the class, we spent a little time singing some Japanese songs for the seniors as well as showing them how to count in Japanese.  We also had a chance to talk with some of the residents.  The people we met were all so nice to talk with.
