First Day at the Study Center, Community Tour and Welcome Party

This was our first day on the study center.  We had an orientation class in the morning and learned how to stay safe in the US, and then went out for a little community tour around the study center. We visited a chocolate store, a local natural food groccery, and many stores in the nearby shopping mall.

In the evening, we had a welcome party at the study center.  The party was a potluck party and we enjoyed having American food  as well as talking with all the host families.  It was a very good party.
