Visit Green River College and a Local Nursing Home

We spent the morning class preparing for the visit to a nursing home in that afternoon. We then visited our sister school Green River College around the noon.  The campus was huge and full of nature and looked very different from our college in Japan.  We first had lunch at the student union building, and then looked around the campus, including the college bookshop, a huge library with an art gallery, the office for exchange students from all over the world, and many more. While we were looking around the campus, we met our old friends from Seiryo Junior College, who had been studying for the past 5 months at GRC. 
 
We also visited a nursing home near the study center in the afternoon. The place looked like a beautiful condo or hotel with nice facilities and staff.  A staff member Tina showed us around the place and it was just gorgeous. After the tour, we gave some residents a presentation about how to count in Japanese. We were happy to see the residents smiling. We also spent a little time talkng with the residents.  They were all so nice to talk with.
