Class, Visit Police Department, Municipal Court and Mayor's Office

We started the morning class by learning about American coins, then talked about our afternoon visit, and practiced some songs for our future visits. 

In the afternoon, we visited a local police department, which is located in the same building as the city hall of Federal Way.  We had a female staff show us around and answer some questions about the police work in the area.  Most police officers were out, and the station was quiet.  We then visited the municipal court on the same premise and met Judge Larson. The Judge told us about his job and even had some robes for us to wear and take pictures. We finally visited the city hall, and there met Mayor Jim Ferrell of the City of Federal Way. Mayor Ferrell showed us around in his office.
