Vist Green River College, and a Little Shopping at H-Mart

We visited our sister school, Green River College, before lunch.  The campus was huge, full of nature, and looked very different from our college in Japan.  We first visited the main library, and were deeply impressed with its size. We then went to the student center, which had a bookstore, a cafeteria, and many other facilities. At lunch time, we had a chance to see one of the three Seiryo students who had been studying there for the past five months. We later visited the administration office for international students and learned a little about their international program.

After we left Green River College, we went to an Asian grocery store, H-Mart, to get some ingredients to cook Japanese food for our host families. We saw some products that we hardly see in Japan, and it was very interesting (and shocking). While we were shopping, a boy came to us. He was a student at Twin Lakes Elementary School, which we had visited a few days before. He remembered us, and came to talk to us. How lovely!
