Sayonara Party Preparation and Celebration

This was our last day at the study center, and we spent it preparing for our Sayonara Party in the evening. We dedicated the whole day to finishing our memory journals for our host families and practicing our presentation.

The party began shortly after 6:00 p.m. with all our host families in attendance. We dressed up in yukata (casual summer kimonos) and opened the event with a presentation about Sado Island, a famous tourist destination in Niigata Prefecture. After that, we took turns presenting our journals and handmade photo frames to our host families. Finally, we enjoyed a delicious cake baked by Alissa and spent the rest of the evening chatting. It was a truly wonderful party!
