I wasn't interested in the short-term study abroad program at first. Then I entered Seiryo College and heard about the program from the students who had joined it. That was when I thought that I wanted to speak English and wanted to make friends abroad. The biggest reason was that it sounded fun, so I decided to join the program. I wasn't good at English, so I studied hard in class.

When I first arrived in America, I coudn't catch words and I often asked people to repeat them again. I coud hardly speak what I wanted to say, either. However, I made friends when classes started. Then I gradually got used to speak English. Also I tried to speak out actively so I could take communication. I was very happy when I felt it.

I felt worried at first, but now everything is my good memory. The cost was very high, but I got many things that are worth it. Thanks to my family, host family, friends, teachers, I had a good experience. If you get interested in the program, I strongly advise you to join it.
