Host Family

Robin

(Host Mother)

Robin has a job using a computer. Also, she has an activity at church. She was so kind, and she always asked me, “If you want, do you want to go with me?”

She makes sweets very well and makes various kinds of sweets like cookies and cakes. I made cookies with her. I liked the sweets she made.

I had dinner with her on weekdays due to my host father's work. She cooked udon and miso soup for me. I remember I was happy.

She always drove me to and from school until I got used to using a bus and then we had dinner together at a restaurant.

Brian

(Host Father)

I did not have much time to spend with my host father, Brian on weekdays because he usually worked from daytime to late at night. However, he drove me to and from school when Robin was busy with her job or he did not have a job.

Also, he always taught me things in detail when I asked him something.

He cooks very well like Robin. He made lunch and dinner on weekends, and I used to cook with him.

Story

Story was popular among the children in our neighborhood. Robin came to pick me up to school with Story.

Also, I took her to a dog park with Robin and then I shampooed her.

She was sleeping in the living room and her sleeping figure was very cute.

Lasque

Lasque had white hair and he was shy. He was on the sofa before I knew it and I spent the time with him in the living room when my host family were not home.

When I first came to our house, he did not pay attention to me. However, he finally became friendly with me.

There was no other student in the house, so I used some space like the bathroom for myself. If there is no other student except for you in your host family's house, you should try to keep your space clean.

My host family drove me to and from school or the station basically. However, I often used a bus after studying after school and for going out with friends. I recommend getting used to the bus survice as soon as you can.
