Winter
Vacation
After the fall quarter, we had a winter vacation
for about 3 weeks! I had a really good time with my friends and experienced a
lot of things in California and Vancouver!!
First,
I went bowling and had a
wrap-up party with my friends in Level 4.

The authentic atmosphere of
Hollywood was so amazing. There were many artworks, even on the roads and walls.
I love
vintage clothes, so I was so happy to get some great ones at a famous store.
Also, I
went to Disney California Adventure. We completed most of the amusement attractions
there. The Incredicoaster (one of the roller coasters) was
super fantastic and my favorite.
I ran
into Spider-Man on the way to the Avengers area and luckily got
a chance to take a photo with him!! Once he noticed that we were from
Japan, he introduced himself in Japanese for us. Because of his great
entertainment, I finally became a fan of him.

In
February, I
traveled to Vancouver, Canada.
They had more nature than in
Seattle, and the air was so fresh. The scenery in Vancouver was so similar to the one in
Seattle, so I wondered if I really came to Canada.
We
visited some cafeterias
in downtown. I loved it, especially Tim Hortons. Not only
the coffee but also the bagels and muffins were so tasty.
Also, I got a bottle of authentic maple syrup as a souvenir for my
family and friends.
