Host Father
Howard works for Costco. He is very tall and so kind. He looked very busy with his job, but he cooked breakfast on Sundays and cleaned his house. He taught me how to count American money and showed me funny movies. I was so happy. I think that he is a very good father.

Debbie
Host Mother
Debbie works part-time as a tutor at Green River Community College . She is always smiling and very kind. She is very good at cooking and she can cook some Japanese dishes too. I like them. She likes to sew, knit and draw. For her granddaughter Avalynn's birthday, Debbie made clothes for her. Debbie takes drawing lessons, too. I enjoyed talking with her.

Raina
Host Sister
Raina is married to Jason and they have two children. They live in Puyallup, Washington. I saw them about twice a week. Raina is so cute and kind. She likes coffee and shopping. Her children are a 3-year-old boy, Jimmie, and a 1-year-old girl, Avalynn . They are very pretty and funny!

Mary
Host Grandmother
Grandma Mary lives in a senior home near the Herndon family's house. She is very active. She always talked with me when we went to church. I enjoyed talking with her. She is so kind. She listened patiently to my clumsy English, so I was glad. She has a dog, whose name is DJ.

Happy

Happy is cute, but he is almost 13 years old. He looks very young and excited, and he likes going outside. He often slept beside the fireplace. I hung around with him every day.
