The Barrie Family

My host family are so close to each other. They like outdoor activities such as camping and skiing.

Ben
(Father)
　Ben was born in the State of Washington. He is so kind and gentle. He always spoke to me with his smile. He goes to work early in the morning, so he goes to bed at nine. He is good at making sweets, and he made me some apple pie . It was delicious! He likes making something out of wood, and he gave me a ballpoint pen made of rosewood . He is making a wooden deck now.

Gwen
(Mother)
　 Gwen was born in the State of Texas. She is charming and playful. Her smile was so cute . She loves her pets, and often speaks to them. She has many hobbies like bowling, making stained glass and making scrapbooks of traveling. She goes bowling every Tuesday. She made me a lot of cooking such as tilapia, chicken taos and beef storoganof. I asked for more with her cooking many times. Her cooking was my pleasure every day!

Hannah
(Sister)
　Hannah is reliable, upbeat and cheerful. She was studying at a university in the State of Oregon, and came home by driving for four hours every weekend. She has many Japanese goods in her room, which were beautiful. She always taught me proper English. She was a very good teacher for me .

Cola
(Cat)
　 Cola was a littele shy. She didn't like my stroking her very much. I often enjoyed playing with her using a laser light. She was playing with Fresca sometimes.

Fresca
(Ferret)
　Fresca is very friendly . He often came to my room and hung around in my suitcase. I was happy when he slept in my arms.

Fanta
(Ferret)
　 Fanta lives with Hannah in the State of Oregon, and comes home with her every weekend. He was full of energy and was running around in the house all the time .
