That day, Adam got accepted by the University of Washington, so Marianne, Adam, Adam's family and I went to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate Adam's acceptance to the university.  I met Adam's parents for the first time, and they were so kind.

We went to Green River Community College.  The college was big and beautiful.  We met Hitomi, Natsuki and Ai, who were studying there.  They were able to speak English very well, so I thought they were studying very hard.  They didn't have much time, so we didn't talk a lot.  It was a short time, but we were glad to see them.
Next, we went to a local nursing home.  The building was beautiful, and it looked like a hotel.  People staying there looked cheerful and fun.  We sang them some Japanese songs in English.

In the afternoon, we made cookies at the study center .  Japan and America use different measurements, so making cookies was difficult for me.  We finally made delicious cookies by working together.
After class, Marianne and I made cookies .  We made  different kinds of cookies, and they were delicious.  I enjoyed making cookies.

We taught them Katakana.

In the morning, we practiced a presentation for Sayonara Party.  We had already practiced it in Japan many times, so we just checked reading the script.
In the afternoon, we wore yukata.  The vice-president of our college had taught us how to wear yukata in Japan, so we had little difficulty in wearing yukata.  I remembered how to wear yukata, so I helped my friends who couldn't wear yukata very well.
Sayonara party was great.  Our presentation worked so well.  We gained a great success.  Many people took an interest in Nagaoka fireworks.  I was glad to hear that.
After the party, Marianne, Adam and I talked a lot.  It was our final day, so I felt sad.

We told about Nagaoka fireworks.

We wore yukata very well

Thank you!
