We prepared breakfast together,
and Cindy and I went to the outlet
mall. I ate pancakes for breakfast, and
it was very
delicious.
There was a store that had a lot of
items from my favorite movies, and when I was trying to decide which one to
buy, Cindy bought me a T-shirt
as a present. She also bought me lemonade and pretzels. We ate pletzels togeter.
For dinner, Jan ordered pizza. That
was my first pizza in the U.S. While eating pizza, I told them about my favorite
movie, Nightmare Before Christmas, and they watched
the movie with me right after dinner.

Cindy and Jan
took me to the State Sale. I saw the State Sale for the first
time in my life, so I was surprised that all the items in the house were being sold. I
was looking at a mug with a cat design on it, and the
owner said she swuld give it to me if I liked it. So I got it as a
present. I was really glad. After that, we went to the
Museum of Glass (MOG) in Tacoma. It was a good time because I love
art and museums very much, and the artwork made of glass
was interesting. There were some artworks made by Japanese
artists. There was also a show where we could see how glass bowls
were
made.

In the morning, we went to the
Great Wall Shopping Mall. There were many kinds of Japanese snacks.
Cindy and Jan asked me which snack I
recommend, so I told them Pocky is very delicious.
And then they bought some Japanese snacks, including that. They
loved them so much that I was a little proud. After that, they took me to
the Seattle Chocolate Factory. I learned how Seattle chocolate is made and how
the taste changes depending on the amount of cacao they use. I bought many chocolates as
a souvenir,
too.
We ate
dinner at the steak restaurant, TEXAS Roadhouse, with Cindy , Jan 's daughter and her families. We could
eat as many peanuts as we wanted, and it was really unique that we had to
drop peanut shells on the floor. The steak was a little big for me, but it
was very good. I had a good dinner with them.

I painted a hand mirror
with Cindy. She is
very good at painting, and she taught me how she paints flowers with
paint. I love her art of flowers and birds. I practiced a lot,
but I couldn't paint as well as her. I hadn't painted for
a while, so it was really fun, and I
was
passionate
about
it.
In the evening, we invited Ayano to dinner. Jan cooked dishes that day, and
they were really delicious. Ayano
told us what she does at GRC. After dinner, we played Rummikub. I played
it for the first time, and it
was very fun. I was
happy
to win
the
game
four
times.

Cindy and Jan took me to the Boeing Future of Flight.
There, we had a tour of an airplane factory. The factory was huge, and some
planes were built there. It was really amazing that I had such a
precious experience. I learned
that it takes many tests with many
people
to make one
airplane.
We ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant, Azteca.
It was my first time eating Mexican food, and it was spicy and delicious.
I ordered a dish with shrimp and mushrooms, but I couldn't read what the
name of the dish was.

We went to the Air Force
base. It was the place where Jan used to work, and he
drove
around the facilities and explained them to me. I even entered the air traffic
control center. Jan explained the
machines there, but it was very complicated. I understand how difficult an
air
traffic
controller's job is.
There was a small shopping mall in the base. We ate lunch
at the food court there. I had a sushi burrito. It didn't look
like Japanese sushi, but it was very delicious. There were lots of items, such as
clothes, mugs, and Air Force goods, so I bought some as souvenirs.
