George （Host Father）		George is very kind. He likes jokes, and it was very fun for me. He talked to Karen very often, so I felt they had a very good relationship. George asked me many questions, and he took me to various places. I was glad because he praised me for my English. We often watched some animation and comedy dramas together. He can use chopsticks very well. He made breakfast for me on weekends.
Karen (Host Mother)		Karen often helped me understand her English. She was always kind to me, and she usually came to my room to wake me up. She often winked at me, and I could count on her. Karen likes walking, so we went shopping together. We walked around our house. I like her dishes very much. She is good at sewing, and we made coasters together.
Emily		Emily is the granddaughter of George and Karen. She is the same age as me, so I was able to speak to her easily. When I couldn't tell her in English what I wanted to say, she helped me out, and she understood what I wanted to say. Emily told me the artists she recommended. We went shopping together. I bought the same husky stuff that she had. She is kind, and she likes talking. We played board games, video games, and origami together.
Kyle		Kyle is the grandson of George and Karen. He is a high school student. He told me about many sports, such as basketball and table tennis. He also played video games with me. He was good at playing them, and he kindly taught me how to play them. I had seen younger Kyle in the homestay report that our previous students wrote. I was surprised that he grew up, and he got very tall. He looked happy when I gave him a square piece of thick paper on which I wrote his name in kanji, so I was glad.
Kim		Kim is the daughter of George and Karen and the mother of Emily and Kyle. She is kind. I felt very relieved at the mere fact that she was with me. She was kind and asked me a lot of things. I like her dishes, such as hamburgers.　My good memory was going shopping with Kim and Emily. We chose my souvenir together. I always spent a good time with Kim.
Max		Max is a friendly dog. He didn't have one eye, but he had a lot of energy. He had a healing character. I walked him with Karen. He seemed very interested in everything.

Alissa (Teacher Guide)

Alissa is always full of energy. I could count on her. On weekdays, she picked me up every day. We talked about what I did in her car. I was able to do my best because she was always very cheerful with me. She is good at sewing, and she gave us a present she made.
