Weekdays

Feb.15(Thu)
First, we went to The Chocolate Factory. There were many chocolates that were rarely seen in Japan. I enjoyed spending time there. After that, we went to Snoqualmie Falls, and saw the waterfall. It was very powerful and windy. I felt good because I was able to change my mind. Next, we went to a souvenir shop nearby.
After that, we went to the mall and ate pizza for lunch. The pizza was big and delicious. Also, we went shopping at a shop called Bath&Body Works. I bought some hand soap. There was a table for table tennis in the mall, so we played it together.

At the study center, my host mother, Karen, was waiting for me. She had a piece of paper with my name on it. I was glad because she gave me a hug. When I was in the car, I was so nervous that I couldn't speak much. I wanted to be able to speak English better during this homestay. When we arrived home, George and Karen welcomed me warmly, so I was very happy. After that, I explained the souvenirs from Japan. I was not used to speaking English yet, so it was difficult to introduce the souvenirs.
I watched an old movie called The Lone Ranger with George and Karen until dinner. That night, George made biscuits. They were salty and delicious. Karen also made potato and cheese soup. She put it in a mug. After dinner, we watched a comedy show called The Dick Van Dyle Show together. I went to bed after preparing lunch for the next day.
