Visit Green River Community College and a Local Retirement

We visited our sister school Green River Community College in the morning. We first had a small lecture about studying at the college and learned some basic information from some college staffs. We then took a tour on the campus guided by one of the Japanese students studying at GRCC. We looked around some modern buildings with nice facilities, the library, the apartment houses for students, the student center and many more. The campus is huge and full of nature and looked very different from our college in Japan. We finally had lunch at the student center, and left the college after that.
We visited a nursing home near the study center in the afternoon. A staff member first showed us around, and the place was like a beautiful condo or hotel with nice facilities and staff. We later joined a group of residents, who were having afternoon wine and snacks, and sang some songs for them and enjoyed talking with them. The senior people we met were all so nice and cute to talk with.
