Visit a Fire Department

We visited a fire station District 13 in Brown Point, Pierce County in the morning.  Many firefighters, including a few female firefighters, welcomed us that day.  We took a small lecture about their work and asked them some questions too.  The firefighters listened to us patiently and answered our questions kindly.  We later looked around the station, put on a firefighter suit, got on a fire truck,  and enjoyed taking many pictures as well as talking with firefighters.  We even practiced shooting water at some targets.  The visit was just awesome!

We had a class at the study center in the afternoon and first talked about our experience at the fire department, and then had had some practice singing a few Japanesee folk songs. Laura taught us how to translate some songs in English, and it was fun, fun, fun.
