DAY 01: 2/13 (Thurs.)
cloudy with shower
Arrival, and Full Day Excursion

We arrived at Seattle International Airport a little after 09:30 a.m. and met Mrs Laura Campbell, our teacher guide from CCU.   We then started on a full day excursion in a car.  The weather was good enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the State of Washington.
We first visited Boehm's Chocolate Factory. It was the day before St. Valentine's day, so the store was very crowded with a lot of pretty boxes of chocolate. We enjoyed some samples, and bought some chocolate as a souvenir.
We next had lunch at a diner called "the Triple XXX Rootbeer Dive-in" in Issaquah.  The place was famous as one of the oldest drive-in restaurants in Pacific Northwest, and was full of car accessories and gadgets.  The hamburgers they offered were so big that we shared one with two of us.  We also tried rootbeer for the first time, and it tasted ...... different.
We visited Snoqualmie Falls and its pretty gift shp later, and finally Northbend Outlet Shopping Mall.
Around 3:30 pm our car reached the parking lot of the study center, and there we met our host families and left for our American home.
