First Day at the Study Center, Shopping Mall Tour and Welcome Party

This was our first day on the study center.  We had an orientation class in the morning and learned how to stay safe in the US, and then went out to the nearby shopping mall to look around, where we met Kara, who used to host a few students in the past. We enjoyed looking around the mall with Kara, and welcomed Kara to join our class later.

In the evening, we had a welcome party at the study center.  The party was a potluck party and we enjoyed having American food  as well as talking with all the host families.  It was a very good party.
