Visit Green River College and Local Retirement Home

We visited our sister school, Green River College, in Auburn in the mornig. The campus was full of nature and looked very different from our college in Japan. We first visited the bookstore and the cafeteria in the student union building, then went to the  administration office for international students, where we learned a little about their international program. After that, an international student from Hong Kong, Xavier, show us around the main library. We spent some time at the huge library before returning to the study center around lunchtime.

In the afternoon, we walked to a local retirement home, Gencare Lifestyle, and met the senior residents there. We started by singing some Japanese songs for the residents, then spent some time talking with them.  It was heartwarming to see the residents' happy faces as they chatted with us. It was a nice visit.
