Class and Fire Department Visit

We spent the morning discussing what we had done the previous night and preparing for our afternoon visit to a local fire department.

We visited the Pierce County Fire District 13 station in Browns Point in the afternoon. The fire chief gave us a brief presentation about their work, and we took turns asking him questions.

Afterward, we toured the station, which included sitting in a fire truck and an ambulance. We also had the chance to try on a firefighting jacket and spray water at a target. The firefighters were incredibly kind, and we had a wonderful time.
