Michiko Eckard

Michiko is a Japanese woman, but she never speaks Japanese. She always used English for me. She is a tour guide and she is very busy. She is good at cooking. She made good dinner for us. She always cared about me like her real daughter.

　Jonathan Eckard

Jonathan is Michiko's son. He is bright and cheerful. He likes Japanese animation, so I often watched Japanese animation with him.

　Stephanie Eckard

Stephanie is Michiko's daughter. She goes to university. She likes exercise such as skiing, rock-climbing and yoga. I often made sweets with her on holidays. It was very fun.

Raymond Eckard

Raymond is Michiko's second son. He graduated from the University of Washington. I lived with him only for one month, but he often came to our house. When my host mother was very busy, he made dinner for me.

　Celine

Celine was 21 years old and an academic student at GRCC. She was very kind to me. I talked with her every day. She told me a lot of stories. I often went out with her too. She was like a sister to me.

　My house was a good place to study English in because it was usually quiet at home. The house had a bathroom for students. I made breakfast and lunch for myself. I went to school by bus, and it took about 45 minutes to Kent Campus and 1 hour to Main Campus.
