Host Family
 
I lived with the Jensen family for the first 3 months, and then moved to the Beekely family and stayed there for the rest of my stay.

The Beekely Family

 Gina
 Gina is good at cooking.  I love her dishes.  Even now I sometimes cook the dishes that she taught me.  She had been to Mexico to study abroad, so she gave me a lot of advice.  Also she took care of me a lot.  For example, she helped me with my pronunciation, and it sometimes took us over one hour.  When we had free time, she took me to many places.  It was always exciting.  She drove me to the college, and came to pick me up there regularly.

 Doyle

 Doyle is entertaining with jokes.  I couldn't pronounce his name "Doyle" right, so I called him "Mr. D," and  he always responded to me with a smile.  He also  taught me a lot of slang .  He was taking one-year-off from his work while I was there, and he went out somewhere almost every day.  Sometimes he drove me to the college and came to pick me up there.

 Madison

 Madison is my host sister.  She had a busy job, so she hardly stayed home.  When she stayed home, she spoke to me and listened to my English patiently.  She likes  drawing pictures, and her pictures were wonderful .

 Tyler, Ashley

 Tyler is Doyle and Gina's son, and Ashley is his wife.  They usually came to our house on weekends.  They sometimes brought DVDs or games with them, and we watched the  movies or played the games together.  They also helped me with my homework.  Ashley came to our house almsot every morning to take a walk with dogs.  I sometimes followed them.  And she talked with me a lot, so I thought she was a sister to me .

 Doris

 Doris is Gina's mother. She is a fashionable mam.  She likes to draw pictures, and her pictures are vey beautiful.  She always took care of me and talked with me a lot .
 Julie

 Julie is my best friend in America.  I enjoyed many things with Julie.  For example, we studied, cooked, and talked about our own country.  Those are my good memories.  I always relied on her, and she always responded to me.

 The pets are very cute.  They always made me feel better.  I love them and miss them.  Tyler and Ashley have Mac.
 





 My room was just the right size for me, and it was so cute.

 The dining room was large.  We played games or watched movies there.
