Host Family
|
My host family was Vietnamese, and they were so kind. |

Host father: Randy Randy always asked me about my classes and weekends. When he didn't stay home all day, he usually gave me messages. On his day off, he made me breakfast such as scrambled egg, baked ham, and sandwiches. He also took me to Starbucks Coffee, which he really likes. Also, Randy likes many kinds of sports, especially baseball, so I talked with him about Ichiro and Yusei Kikuchi. He was interested in Japanese culture such as songs and languages, so he played some Japanese songs when we ate dinner, and he remembered Japanese a little. I really enjoyed his talking with a joke. |

Host mother: Cam At first I was a little afraid of her, but when I tried talking with her, she was friendly, and her smile was wonderful. She also likes children, and she talked with her grandchildren on her cell phone everyday. Also, she cooked very well, so she always made me delicious dishes. The dishes which she made resembled Japanese dishes. I was happy because she remembered my favorite food, and she made it for me. Also, she sometimes took me to a gym and shopping, and gave me some clothes and shoes. She was so kind. |

Roommate: Leah Leah came from China. She was a very considerate person, and she always took care of me. When I came to America, I couldn't speak English or talk to my host family well. Then, she talked to me in simple English. She always helped me, so thanks to her, I was able to adapt myself to the new life soon. We talked about love, trouble, and politics while we were eating dinner and on our day off. I think that is how I improved my English speaking ability. Also, I got my nail done by her. The picture is her nail collection. I had a good time, and she is a great friend of mine. |
