First Day at the Study Center, Community Tour, and Welcome Party

This was our first day at the study center.  We had an orientation class in the morning and told Alissa about our host families and ourselves, and then we went out for a little community tour. We first went to the nearby shopping mall "The Commons at Federal Way" to look around, and then to some other stores, including Daiso and Ivar's, a seafood joint.

In the evening, we had a welcome party at the study center.  The party was a potluck party, and we enjoyed having genuine American food, sharing each family's family flag, and talking with one another.  It was a very good party.
